Sofia Beach is a beautiful, secluded beach that is not easily accessible. You can reach it in two ways:
By Foot: Park your car at Qurbaz Beach and walk for about 30 minutes to reach Sofia Beach.
By 4x4 Vehicle: You can hire a 4x4 to take you part of the way, and you then walk for about 15 minutes to complete the trip over the mountain.
The road over the mountain is rocky and full of potholes, making it difficult for regular cars to pass. While some people attempt it, many find it too risky. A 4x4 vehicle can navigate this path with ease.
The beach itself is known for its pure water and clean sand. However, due to an increase in visitors, it has recently become somewhat polluted.
Tips for Your Visit
Despite the difficult access and recent pollution, the beach is definitely worth visiting for the unique experience.
Be Prepared: There are no facilities at the beach, so make sure to bring your own water and food, especially if you plan to stay for a while.
Stay Connected: Although there is no electricity, you'll find that phone signal and internet connection work just fine.
