My experience visiting islamic center ofUruguay, Ejido Centro Islámico del Uruguay I’m really happy I visited this masjid. I called the phone number, and someone answered within 10 seconds. When I asked if they hold Jumu’ah prayers, they confirmed it starts at 1:30 PM. I went there, prayed Jumu’ah, and Alhamdulillah, it was a beautiful Khutbah. They also announced that tomorrow is the first day of Ramadan and that Taraweh prayers will begin tonight. The masjid is small, located upstairs, but it’s sufficient for the attendees. There were about three lines of people, with a diverse mix of Uruguayans, Arabs, Asians. If you plan to donate, make sure to bring cash as they don’t have a credit card donation system.
