During my trip from Colonia del Sacramento to Montevideo, Uruguay, I traveled by bus after purchasing my ticket online from urubus website for 583 Uruguayan pesos, which is approximately $13. As usual, I searched for the bus terminal on Google Maps in English, but it didn’t show up. However, after translating the search term into Spanish using Google Translate, I was able to locate it. Upon arriving, I found the terminal to be small, charming, and very clean. At the company’s office, I was simply directed to the boarding area—no boarding pass or security checks were required. The relaxed atmosphere made it clear that in this small city, people trust each other, and there’s no need for strict rules, which I truly appreciated. The bus itself was spotless, and the seats offered plenty of legroom, making the journey comfortable.
